What's in your credit report?
A credit report contains information about your credit and the status of all your accounts. Your credit report also includes public information, such as, liens, judgments, bankruptcies, and rental information.
What is your credit report important?
The information in your credit report helps determine your credit score. Your credit score helps lenders determine your credit worthiness when you want to take out a loan.
Each of the three credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, Transunion) produce their own credit report based on available information.
